Since the foundation of a firm in the year the Lenhardt mechanical engineering GmbH develops and produces 1966 in Neuhausen Hamberg with Pforzheim with approx. 300 coworkers single and total conceptions for insulation glass production. The enterprise belongs to Swiss to the Bystronic group. As global complete offerers for the processing of glass for the building and vehicle range Bystronic orders over one of the most extensive plant assortments world-wide. Core components of these plants are equipped with control engineering from the house of Schleicher, Berlin.

Numerous technical innovations were developed by Lenhardt and introduced to the market. High point of these innovations is TPS® (thermal plastic Spacer), the world-wide most modern, most flexible and fully automated insulation glass production system.
Substantial characteristic of this production line is the processing of an organic thermoplastic india rubber material (TPS®) as spacer between the Glastafeln. Main advantages in relation to the otherwise usual aluminum frameworks are thereby a clearly improved heat transition coefficient of the produced insulation glass disks and it escape preparation times in the case of the plant conversion to other frame profile widths.
Further almost arbitrary window free molders can be realized with the TPS® lines, whereby the work procedure of the treatment of aluminum profiles is void completely. Logistics is minimized and in-house organization thereby is simplified.
Into a continuous production process the plants can produce fully automated up to 3600 pieces standard insulation glass disks (0,75m ²) per day. The machine-builder of Baden belongs thereby to the offerers leading world-wide.
